Find a local story

Your customers have local car problems.
Make the videos that answer them.

Texas sun, Florida humidity, Midwest road salt, Arizona dust: different locations create different reasons to care for a vehicle. Enter your shop details to uncover relevant talking points and turn them into 12 ready-to-film, localised videos with a single owner-on-camera hook.

◎ 50 STATES + DC / 50 LOCAL SCRIPTS

Tell us where your shop operates.

Personalise the advice to your market, your services and the driving conditions your customers face. Only the state is required for regional suggestions; city and shop details make the scripts more useful.

For the production brief only; street addresses are never sent to the weather service.
How it works: The page matches your state, city cues and service to a built-in U.S. regional-content guide. It can optionally check a live 7-day forecast. It does not search private customer records, scrape Google or verify a hazard at your exact address. Your shop details stay in this browser unless you decide to email DMI.

03 / Turn trust into bookings

Post practical local advice, follow with your team and results, then invite a relevant enquiry or Black Friday consultation.

Local relevance and safety: These are editorial prompts, not verified weather or road-treatment conditions at an address. Check your city, season, forecast and shop capabilities. Services must be performed safely in suitable temperatures. Never promise that detailing prevents corrosion, that coatings eliminate road salt, or that PPF stops hail. Build trust before the first visit

Do not just be another shop in town.
Be the shop they ask for by name.

Your next customer is not simply choosing between detailing packages. They are deciding who to trust with an expensive vehicle. Build familiarity, show your standards, prove your value and become a recognised local name long before someone asks for a price.

THE LOCAL TRUST STACKFour things that move a shop from "just another option" to "the one I want to call".
01 / THE FACE

Meet the owner

Introduce a real person who is accountable for the work. Trust feels easier when the brand has a face.

02 / THE STANDARD

Show the process

Document preparation, care, workmanship and final checks to make your quality visible.

03 / THE PROOF

Let evidence speak

Real customer feedback, verified results and genuine projects support what you say.

NO FALSE #1 CLAIMS
YOUR LOCAL POSITIONING STATEMENT

Important: Say "we aim to be the shop [CITY] trusts" or "here is why clients choose us" unless you have current, independently verifiable evidence for a superlative such as "#1", "highest rated" or "best in the city". Never invent reviews, awards, certifications, years of experience or before-and-after results.

A simple formula for every video

The only moment you face the camera is the first 3–6 seconds.

Say the opening hook to camera. After that, the viewer sees close-ups of your work while the remaining script is heard as a voice-over. DMI can organise the voice-over arrangement within your agreed production scope.

Why your shop should show up on video

People don't only buy a service.
They choose a shop they trust.

Anyone can post a shiny car. Strong local brands show the people, standards, proof and relationships that make customers confident handing over their keys.

01 — TRUST
◉

Put a face to the business

Customers can hear from the person responsible for the work before they ever visit your shop.

02 — VALUE
✧

Stop competing on price alone

Explain your preparation and quality standards so clients understand what makes your service different.

03 — EXPERTISE
▣

Demonstrate what you know

Turn everyday questions about ceramic coating, tint or PPF into simple educational content.

04 — CONVERSION
↗

Give people a reason to enquire

End with one clear call to action: book an inspection, ask for options or request a quote.

The objective is stronger brand positioning and more relevant conversations. Video performance and bookings will vary by market, offer and execution.

Prepare a seasonal campaign
BLACK FRIDAY CAMPAIGN PLAYBOOKBe known for quality before you make your seasonal offer.
FRIDAY · NOV 27, 2026

Don't wait until Black Friday
to introduce your shop.

A promotion works harder when potential customers already recognise your team, understand your process and have seen the quality of your work. Use your videos to warm up the audience before you ask for the booking.

Phase 01 · Authority
Oct 26 – Nov 1

Introduce your standards

Lead with local brand scripts L06 (meet the owner), L01 (why choose us) and L11 (inspection). One hook filmed on camera per Reel; the rest is silent footage with voice-over.

Phase 02 · Education
Nov 2 – Nov 8

Explain the service

Add L14 (product advice) and L31 (education) to the service videos. Show honest expertise, real preparation and what customers should expect.

Phase 03 · Demand
Nov 9 – Nov 15

Show work & build interest

Use L16 (verified reviews), L20 (real before/after context) and D40 (offer teaser) to reinforce credibility before discussing a promotion.

Phase 04 · Conversion
Nov 16 – Nov 27

Announce & close bookings

Use C20 (coating offer) or P15 (PPF final call), personalised with real terms. No fake urgency or unsupported discounts.

Make the offer valuable without cheapening the brand.

These are optional offer structures, not promises of results. Choose what is profitable and operationally realistic for your shop.

✦

Value-added upgrade

Include a relevant, clearly defined enhancement with a qualifying service rather than racing to the lowest headline price.

▣

Protection bundle

Offer a properly priced combination, such as tint and front-end PPF, with transparent inclusions and service terms.

⌁

Gift-card incentive

Use a genuine gift-card promotion or future-service credit. State eligibility, expiry and redemption conditions clearly.

3 Black Friday scripts are included in the 210-video library. Pair them with local problem-and-solution videos first.

Owner films ONLY the teaser, launch or final-call opening hook. The offer details, service footage and CTA play afterward as voice-over. Use genuine offers, availability and deadlines.

Important: use genuine deadlines and capacity limits, honour stated terms, and ensure any price comparisons and advertised savings comply with local advertising rules.

What DMI handles

You stay focused on the shop.
DMI handles the creative.

No full-length owner presentation. You send a 3–6-second hook and real footage; DMI assembles the voice-over-led edit according to your agreed service scope.

YOUR SIDE · AUTHENTIC SOURCE FOOTAGE

What your shop provides

  • ONE 3–6-second owner-facing hook per chosen video
  • 5–8 silent, vertical clips of the actual service
  • Optional audio-only voice memo for the narration
  • Your shop name, logo and approved CTA details
  • Real Black Friday offer terms where relevant
  • A single shared folder with original files
DETAILERS MOVEMENT · FINISHED CONTENT

What we create

  • Voice-over-led story after the single owner hook
  • Narration recorded or arranged using the agreed method
  • Careful footage selection, pacing and transitions
  • Readable captions, opening headline and branding
  • Service-specific CTA and end-card treatment
  • Vertical exports suitable for Reels and Shorts

Final deliverables, turnaround, revisions and publishing responsibilities depend on your agreed DMI service scope.

Common questions, simple answers.

Do I need professional filming equipment?

No. A modern smartphone, a clean lens, vertical framing, good light and clear audio are enough to start. The quality of what you're showing matters more than having an expensive camera.

Who speaks the voice-over after my opening hook?

You can supply the rest of the script as a separate audio-only voice memo, or ask your DMI account manager about a DMI-arranged voice-over. The method, voice approval and delivery are agreed within your service scope. No synthetic cloning of your voice is assumed.

Do I have to say the whole script on camera?

No. Film ONLY the 3–6-second opening hook on camera. The remaining dialogue is written for voice-over across silent B-roll. You may optionally record narration as an audio-only voice memo or coordinate that production with DMI.

Do I need to edit anything before sending?

No. Send the opening hook as one raw clip, silent B-roll clips and any separate voice memo unedited. Avoid applying text, music, transitions or filters. DMI can assemble the voice-over-led video under your production agreement.

Can I film customers or their vehicles?

Only when you have appropriate permission. Avoid showing customer faces, number plates, personal details or private spaces unless you have consent and a legitimate reason to include them.

How many videos should I make?

Start with four high-quality videos a month: brand trust, service education, visible craftsmanship and a relevant offer. The library provides 210 scripts; your cadence and editing scope depend on your DMI plan.

Will DMI publish the finished videos?

DMI can prepare content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. Editing, approval, scheduling and posting are determined by your agreed service plan.
